The animation area :  NDT at the heart of the matter. The quality control

Organised by CETIM.
Stand G5

Come discover the latest technologies NDT on metallic and composite materials, which can provide you: product quality, response to regulatory requirements and standards, safety equipment etinstallations, increased productivity, improved time and cost savings.

2 demonstrations will be offered:

Illustration of the use of simulation tools in the development of ultrasonic inspection.

The control developed involves the inspection of a mechanical shaft steel, using sensor array. This technology was chosen for its ability to deflect the ultrasonic beam at different angles, allowing the inspection of several different areas without moving the sensor. The use of simulation to verify the feasibility of control, optimize its parameters to evaluate its performance, and ultimately, reduce the response time on the play.

Implementation of two innovative and complementary methods of control ultrasonic welding.

The first method is based on the use of phased array sensors, which can reduce the time control of welding and to ensure a degree of traceability through the development of imaging techniques.
The second method, called TOFD offers an incredible sensitivity of detection and allows, in many cases, replace the control by radiography.

Prize Yves ROCARD - SFP

Twesday 1st  june - 16h00

The SFP Yves Rocard Prize rewards a researcher, engineer, technician, team or an inventor/company (industrial group or SME) partnership behind an innovation, having carried out a recent transfer of technology (within the last five years), which led to a prototype or marketing initiative...

Prize Daniel Guinier Young Researcher - SFP

Wednesday 2 june - 16h00

The SFP Daniel Guinier Young Researcher Award rewards a student who defended his or her thesis in the previous year. This year it will be awarded to Emmanuelle Gouillart for her thesis work on chaotic mixing carried out at the CEA (DSM) and Imperial College, under the guidance of Olivier and Jean-Luc Dauchot Thiffeault, as part of a Cifre Saint-Gobain contract, in collaboration with Saint-Gobain Research.

The SCF and SFP Instrumentation Prize

Thrusday 3 june - 15h00

The SCF and SFP Instrumentation Prize (Physical Chemistry Division) recognises innovations in instrumentation leading to real progress in the field of Physical Chemistry. The €2500 prize aims to enhance and encourage the development of instrumentation.

Prize of the review MESURES - Groupe 01

15th edition of the Ranking of technological measures
Each year in June, Measurement Technology hosts its Past. This is an opportunity for the editorial review of all products that have been presented or discovered it during the past year and reward the instruments and the most innovative solutions. With its knowledge of devices and technologies available on the market, writing objectively select the product that some of these features stand out in ten categories: Mechanical Measurements, Machine Vision, Measurement, Industry Analysis, Embedded computing, Process Instrumentation, Industrial Computer, Electrical Measurements, Data Acquisition and Automation. For each category, the journalist responsible for the section offers several candidates. The whole debate then writing to designate the winner from among all the products offered. Of course, the choice is often difficult. That is why special mentions are awarded to products that could be worth winning.

For its 15th edition, the awards ceremony of the winners will be awarded in technological partnership with MesurexpoVision, on the occasion of the exhibition.
